I guess vases are something women collect as they get older and novelty gifts suddenly aren’t as appropriate as they used to be.  So I guess later in life flowers will enjoy a more suitable home but I won’t be able to enjoy unwrapping gifts like bottles of whiskey, or screenprints of Nelly, or keychain vibrators.  But at least I’ll have vases.
